CROW LAKE Outfitters

You can fish for several popular species on our lakes.  Walleye, lake trout and northern pike are abundant at both outpost locations and Loonhaunt has the added bonus of excellent bass fishing.  Trophy fish are caught and released each season with plenty of good eaters providing exciting action.

For the angler looking for year-round sport Loonhaunt Lake is accessible by snowmobile for ice fishing.  It's only a short sled ride from Clearwater Lake or a 90-minute ride from Crow Lake in Nestor Falls.  The wood stove gets the cabin hot in a hurry and the sauna feels good after a long day on the ice.

Conservation Policy

To protect the excellent quality of fishing on the lakes we ask all of our guests to practice 'catch and consume' fishing.  We encourage you to have a shore lunch - eating walleye hot from the pan is one of the best parts of the fly-in experience - but please return everything that you're not going to eat back to the lake.  Returning the majority of fish caught, including the trophies, makes for better meals and helps to maintain the quick action on the lakes.  It's our hope that we can preserve the quality of fishing so that future generations can enjoy the exceptional Ontario fishing that we have today.
